WHERE ARE YOU FROM?

Grew up in Boston, undergrad in Maine and Santa Fe, New Mexico, Master’s in California. Expat in Manchester, England in my teens, Perugia, Italy in my 30s and Krakow, Poland in my 60s, 2 years each. These days, I’m based in Minneapolis and combine work and travel several months per year (digital nomad, location independent therapist). Like many people, it’s hard for me to answer where I’m from.

GREEN THERAPY

I also love being outdoors and hiking and cycling; the John Muir Trail, the Colorado Trail, 14ers in Colorado, the Walker’s Haute Route in the Alps; bicycle trips, camping in the US and Europe.

    • Adverse experiences when you were a child can include being yelled at, criticized, feeling rejected, abandoned, neglected, having a family member with mental illness, drinking or drug problem (prescription or not), feeling like your parents didn’t love you, parents insulting or putting you down, physical or sexual abuse.
    • Cultural differences, immigration trauma, integration trauma
    • These are some of the things I’ve worked on with clients and helped them get relief.
